27 Dresses, 27 Years

Dearest Mikaela,

Happy 27th Birthday !! I am so very grateful for you. You are beautiful, smart, driven, and so cool!

For those of you who don’t know Mikaela, let me tell you about her. Mikaela shows up for people. When she is needed or invited, she will be there. Royal blue has to be her best color. And Mikaela is in a different city almost every weekend of the year.

This year for her birthday, she threw a "27 dresses" party where everyone wore a dress that they wouldn't have the opportunity to wear anywhere else. It was such a fun theme and the picture on this blog post is from that event.

Mikaela KNOWS how to take beautiful pictures and her instagram is unmatched. Her stories are always paired with great songs and I love to see Mark Wahlberg on her story every Sunday.

She longboards and goes to hot pilates and hot yoga. Strength is definitely one of her best virtues and she is also good at cooking at home. She makes sourdough bread like all of the time and it is always so pretty!

Mikaela always offers to bring something to every hangout and always chooses the best drinks. She speaks kindly of others and knows SO many medical/wellness things because she is an athletic trainer for a Big 12 school. She is good at her job and her athletes love her.

I love her. Anyone that comes into her life is blessed. I know I have been.

I am so very lucky to know you Mikaela and I hope that this next year is phenomenal. You deserve it. I love you. 143.
